FAQ Hardwood Flooring FAQs for Westwood Hills Homeowners
Our home is in the Westwood Hills Historic District, can you match hardwood that’s nearly 100 years old?
Yes. Many Westwood Hills homes were built in the 1920s when the neighborhood was first platted, and their original oak floors respond beautifully to careful sanding and refinishing. We custom mix stain on site so any new or repaired boards blend seamlessly with your existing floor.
How much does hardwood flooring cost for a home in Westwood Hills?
Cost depends on your home’s square footage, the condition of the existing floors, and whether you need installation, replacement, or refinishing. We’ll walk your home and follow up with a clear, written estimate, no surprise charges once work begins.
Westwood Hills is a very small, quiet city, will a crew disrupt the neighborhood?
We know Westwood Hills is a tight-knit residential community of well under 500 residents. Our crews park considerately, keep noise and debris contained to your property, and clean up thoroughly at the end of each day out of respect for your neighbors.
How long does a hardwood floor project take?
Most single-room refinishing projects wrap up in less than a week; larger installs or whole-home refinishes typically take one to two weeks. We’ll map out a realistic schedule for your specific floors during your free consultation.
Is your work under warranty?
Every installation and refinishing job we complete is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty, so you’re covered if anything doesn’t hold up the way it should.
Do you serve homes near the state line, including Westwood Hills, Westwood, and Mission Woods?
Yes. Westwood Hills sits right along State Line Road between Westwood and Mission Woods, and all three are part of our regular Johnson County service area. See our full list of communities we serve.
