Every day you walk across your floors. In a home built around lake views, worn or dated hardwood stands out even more. Here’s the reality many Weatherby Lake homeowners face:
Worn and dated floors

Bad past installs

Flooring contractor headaches
Missed deadlines, poor communication, and surprise costs that leave you feeling taken advantage of.
Confusion about next steps
Should you repair, refinish, or replace? Most homeowners don’t know what’s best or what it will really cost.
You shouldn’t have to settle for floors that don’t match the rest of your lake home, or contractors who don’t show up when they say they will. With JRK Flooring there’s a better way to beautiful hardwood floors in Weatherby Lake.

5 out of 5 stars JRK Flooring added hardwood flooring to the library and refinished the existing hardwood floors in our home. The new flooring was and exact match with the old and they wove them together perfectly where the old met the new.
5 out of 5 stars I had JRK Flooring add white oak to my great room and dining room and refinish the existing white oak floor in the kitchen and entry way floor in August. Everything looks terrific!
5 out of 5 stars Justin and team did an OUTSTANDING job on the floors in our home. They are absolutely stunning! We found the hardwoods in 7 of our rooms, as well as one hallway. We had carpet on the floors for almost 30 years.
5 out of 5 stars JRK Flooring LLC completed a multi room flooring project for my home. The owner Justin clearly explained all of the flooring options to me and my wife beforehand. The workmanship was professional and excellent.
5 out of 5 stars We had a fantastic experience with Justin and Matthew at JRK Flooring. They saved our floor from a previous disaster...turned an ‘ugly duckling’ floor into something spectacular. We could not be happier.
FAQ Hardwood Flooring FAQs for Weatherby Lake Homeowners
Do you work on large, custom lakefront homes in Weatherby Lake?
Yes. Many Weatherby Lake homes have great rooms, libraries, and multiple living areas built around lake views, and we regularly plan around those larger, more custom floor plans. We’ll walk the whole home during your consultation so the scope and estimate reflect exactly what your floors need.
Can new hardwood match the floors already in my Weatherby Lake home?
In most cases, yes. Weatherby Lake has a mix of older lake cottages and larger newer builds, so board width, species, and stain color can vary widely from house to house. We custom-mix stain and blend new wood into existing flooring so the transition is seamless rather than a visible patch.
How do you protect the rest of my home during a refinishing project?
We seal off work areas, use dust-control equipment during sanding, and take extra care around baseboards, trim, and stairways so the rest of your home stays clean while we work.
Is JRK Flooring familiar with the Weatherby Lake area?
We’ve served homeowners throughout Platte County and the Northland for 15+ years, including the Weatherby Lake community, and we’re happy to work with any access arrangements your neighborhood requires for contractors.
Do you offer financing for larger flooring projects?
Yes. Larger homes often mean a larger scope of work, and flexible financing options are available. See our Financing page for details, or ask during your consultation.
Is your work backed by a warranty?
Every installation and refinishing project we complete, in Weatherby Lake or anywhere in the KC metro, is backed by our 1-year workmanship warranty.
