4.9 141+ Google Reviews What Local Homeowners Say About Our Odessa Wood Flooring Services
Real reviews from homeowners we’ve served across the KC metro, including Odessa and Lafayette County.
5 out of 5 stars Justin and Brock at JRK Flooring did an amazing job refinishing our 106 year old original hardwood floors. These floors were definitely not in great shape, and they got them looking amazing. Justin is super easy to work with, his prices are great, and the quality of his work is impeccable. Strongly recommend him!
5 out of 5 stars Justin was awesome in explaining everything. My wife thought our floors were not salvageable. Justin and team made our floors look better than new. I would tell anyone that needs hardwood flooring revived from the dead to contact JRK flooring. They will not disappoint.
5 out of 5 stars I would recommend JRK flooring to anyone looking to refinish their hardwoods. We live in a 100 year old home and the floors had been covered with years and years of carpet and they had turned the ugly orange over the years.
5 out of 5 stars We are rehabbing a 1960 build with old hardwoods that had been covered by carpet for 35+ years. They were in bad shape. My handyman tried to work the floors but could not get them to look good.
5 out of 5 stars What a wonderful job they did on my old flooring. It looks brand new. Justin and Brock did the work in a very timely manner and helped me along the way. The price was more than fair. These are the guys for your floor needs.
5 out of 5 stars Completed my refinishing this morning. It was completed in just in two days for drying time and looks great. Mario did a great job on the sanding. With competitors pushing $4.25 to $5.00 a square foot and up to a 300% markups on materials JRK is bargain and a great value.
FAQ Hardwood Flooring FAQs for Odessa Homeowners
Do you travel all the way out to Odessa for flooring projects?
Yes. Odessa is the largest city in Lafayette County and part of our regular Kansas City metro service area, so the drive out I-70 is a normal part of our route, not a special trip. You get the same crew, pricing, and process as our KC-area customers.
A lot of homes in Odessa are older or on acreage. Does that change how you quote a job?
It can. Older Lafayette County farmhouses and homes near Odessa’s historic downtown often have original wood subfloors, uneven boards, or hidden layers under old carpet. We walk the whole floor system in person before quoting so you know exactly what you’re working with, no guessing after we’ve already started.
How much does hardwood flooring cost for an Odessa home?
Pricing depends on square footage, the condition of your current floors, and whether you need installation, replacement, or refinishing. We’ll assess your floors and give you a clear written estimate before any work begins.
How long will my floors be out of commission?
Most single-room refinishing jobs take about a week including dry time, and installs vary with scope. We’ll give you a realistic start-to-finish schedule for your specific home during your free consultation.
Is your work guaranteed?
Every installation and refinishing project comes with our 1-year workmanship warranty, so you have real recourse if something isn’t right.
Can I finance a flooring project in Odessa?
Yes, flexible financing options are available. See our Financing page for details or ask us about it during your consultation.
