FAQ Hardwood Flooring FAQs for Loch Lloyd Homeowners
Do you work with the wide-plank white oak and walnut species common in Loch Lloyd’s custom builds?
Yes. Many Loch Lloyd homes were built with wide-plank white oak, walnut, or hickory from custom builders, and we regularly source, install, and refinish those same species to match. If your floors carry a custom stain blend, we’ll create swatch samples on-site until the color is right before any sanding begins.
Can you replicate a custom medallion, herringbone pattern, or wood inlay in an entryway or great room?
Absolutely. Grand entryways and great rooms in Loch Lloyd’s estate homes often feature custom medallions, herringbone, or chevron inlays. We handle these detailed layouts as part of our installation and repair work, matching existing patterns board for board.
How do you handle scheduling and access for a gated community like Loch Lloyd?
We coordinate directly with your gate access and any HOA or security requirements ahead of time, so our crew arrives on schedule without holding up your day. We treat every estate home with the same care and discretion, whether we’re there for one room or a full-home refinish.
What does a full hardwood refinish cost for a larger Loch Lloyd estate home?
Because Loch Lloyd homes vary widely in square footage, wood species, and finish level, we provide a walk-through and a detailed written estimate rather than a flat per-square-foot number. That way you know exactly what premium materials and labor are included before we start.
How long does a whole-home hardwood project take in a home this size?
Larger custom homes naturally take longer than a single-room refinish, but we’ll map out a day-by-day schedule during your consultation so you know what to expect from start to final coat, no open-ended timelines.
Are you insured and experienced with high-end hardwood flooring?
Yes. JRK Flooring is a Certified Bona Craftsman and NWFA member with 15+ years of experience, and we carry the insurance and licensing needed to work confidently in Cass County’s most exclusive communities, including Loch Lloyd.
